Venue Information
The grounds of the Old Air Force base had been used by the US Military since 1814. It was originally commissioned due to the War of 1812. Since that time, the base had been expanded to include 3,447 acres. The present gym was built in 1933 after fire destroyed the building that previously occupied the site. According to some records, one death was recorded due to that fire. The gym has long been suspected of being haunted, and has had numerous rumors surrounding it. One such rumor is that a certain closed off area was once used as a morgue. This area will be used as the "haunted House" attraction during the EXPO.
